He was stabbed in the back with a 'rat tail' comb, police say.
A Hagerstown woman has been charged with 1st- and 2nd-degree assault, and reckless endangerment for allegedly stabbing her room mate with a "rat tail" comb.
Police were called to 211 West Franklin Street on Thursday at 11:13 AM , and found that the victim, identified as Wayne Duvall, 54, had been stabbed in the back. Part of the comb was still in his back.
Duvall was taken to Meritus Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
His room mate Saundra Hewlett, 48, had left the scene by the time officers arrived. She later turned herself in to police.
The two had been residing at the West Franklin Street address for about 18 years, authorities say.
