Residents in the Thurmont area heard explosions and felt the earth move late Wednesday night.

Listeners called in to WFMD News the next morning to report it.

Thurmont Police Officers and Frederick County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Lawyers Lane off of Jimtown Road to investigate. Authorities say no evidence of any explosions or explosive devices was found.
