Their cases will move quickly to Circuit Court.

Friday was a light day for the Frederick County Grand Jury, which only issued three indictments.

One was against Anthony Collins, 18, of Frederick, who was indicted on possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. The incident from which these charges result occurred on October 1st, 2012.

Another indictment was against David Scott Fitzwater, 22, of Frederick. "Back on August 20th, 2012, he committed a crime, allegedly of 2nd-degree burglary, 4th-degree burglary and theft," says State's Attorney Charlie Smith. "The Frederick County Grand Jury did return indictments against him on those charges."

The third individual indicted on Friday was Michael Joseph Wiegle, 24, which Smith calls "a pretty serious case." "Mr. Wiegle was indicted on armed robbery, robbery charges, theft, 2nd-degree assault, reckless endangerment and deadly weapon charges for an armed robbery incident occurring August 1st, of 2012."

Each of these cases will be forwarded to Circuit Court, where trial dates will be scheduled.
