Police say it resulted from a domestic incident.
A Hagerstown woman has been arrested following a stabbing early Tuesday morning. Renee Nicole Benjamin, 19, is charged with attempted 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, 1st- and 2nd-degree assault, reckless endangerment and a weapons offense.
Police say Benjamin allegedly stabbed her boyfriend.
Officers were called to 720 West Franklin street shortly before 5:00 AM, and found the victim with a stab wound. He was taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities say this stabbing appears to be the result of a domestic incident.
