Many local homes and businesses are still without power, two days after Hurricane Sandy blew threw the state.

Potomac Edison reports 10,504 customers in Frederick County are without power.

Other power areas reporting power outages are: 1,214 in Washington County, 1,194 in Montgomery County, 188 in Carroll County, 2,184 in Berkeley County, West Virginia, 215 in Jefferson County, West Virginia and 581 in Adams County, Pennsylvania.

Power company officials say, for your safety stay away from all power lines. Assume they are live and dangerous.
