A Libertytown man is charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder following a stabbing early Saturday morning in Frederick.  Police arrested Timothy Alan Wynn, 44, at the Motel 6 on West Patrick Street. He's also charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, reckless endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon, and wearing and carrying a weapon with intent to injure.

Officers first responded to Frederick Memorial Hospital where they interviewed a female who had been stabbed in the leg. They were able to identify Wynn as the suspect, and take him into custody sometime afterward.
