Two patrons were injured.
Two people were injured Saturday after a large SUV crashed into a restaurant where they were eating.
Frederick Police say an off-duty officer was notified that the vehicle went through Sardi's Chicken at 50 North McCain Drive. Police and fire and rescue personnel responded at around 12:30 PM.
One of the patrons was treated at the scene; the other was taken to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Authorities say both have non-life threatening injuries.
The operator of the vehicle identified as Maria Flores-Garcia, 18, of Frederick, was charged with driving without a license and negligent driving.
The City of Frederick's building inspector responded to the scene.
