As technology and health care continue to evolve, many senior citizens could be left feeling lost or confused.

The Verizon Senior Fair is offering help and workshops about the latest technology and health information to keep them up to date. Sandra Arnette with Verizon, said hopefully seniors can walk away feeling more comfortable and better informed.

"So this is just a way of giving back, trying to get some education out and reaching out to seniors, trying to make sure they're protected. We do a lot of things showing them how to be protected on the internet and how to be guarded against consumer fraud. We have started rolling this out in other areas across the state and we will be in Frederick," Arnette said.

Various groups such as AARP, The Frederick County Department of Aging, Mental Health Association and United Seniors will be attending to pass out the latest information. Different sessions will also be offered throughout the day about different topics.
