Officials say there was no extension into the home.
A deck caught fire early Monday morning in Frederick.
Fire fighters were dispatched at 4:11 AM to 495 Hillcrest Drive, and found the deck in the rear of the home was on fire. Officials say the flames did not extend to the house.
30 fire fighters spent 10-minutes bringing the flames under control. No one was hurt.
Damage is estimated at $1,000 to the structure, and $200 dollars to the contents.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
