A Finksburg man is charged with a burglary. Bradley James Lang, 18, was arrested following a break-in at a home in the 2000 block of Old Westminster Road in Finksburg.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office says the residents were surprised early Thursday morning to find an individual in their basement armed with a metal pole. After a brief struggle with the occupants, the suspect got away.

Sheriff's deputies using a canine and the State Police Helicopter were able to locate Lang.

He is charged with 1st-degree assault and 1st-degree burglary.
