Police in Brunswick are investigating a hit and run accident that happened Thursday night, just after 7:00 p.m., on Route 17, on the bridge that connects Maryland to Virginia.

Authorities said two boys were riding their bikes in the roadway when one was struck by a vehicle. The 16 year old victim, who was knocked to the ground, was transported to Meritus Medical Center with minor injuries.

Authorities are looking for a green Honda with Maryland tags. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call Brunswick Police at 301-834-9101.
