Two Frederick Police officers with the Street Crimes Unit arrested three people Friday on drug offenses. Leann Marie Wolfe, 23, of Braddock Heights, Matthew Kyle Naylor, 23, of Frederick, and George Henry Banks III, 22, of Frederick, were apprehended in the Overlook area.

Authorities say the three were seen by the officers in a parked car in Overlook Park with its lights out and engine running. The cops smelled marijuana and observed the pot in plain sight inside the vehicle.

All three suspects are charged with possession of marijuana.

They were taken before a District Court Commissioner.

The two officers were patrolling the Overlook area following a rash of thefts from motor vehicles when they spotted the three inside the vehicle.
