Frederick Police arrested two people from Walkersville over the weekend and charged them with drug offenses.

Authorities said Donald Sweeney of Saratoga Place, and Dana Chipley of Challenge Walk, were both inside of a vehicle that was pulled over for a traffic stop, near Key Parkway. Police said when Sweeney, who was the operator of the car, rolled down his window, the officer could see smoke and smell PCP. The passenger in the vehicle, Chipley, was asked to roll down her window, and the officer said he immediately smelled PCP and saw a burning cigarette between her legs.

Both were taken into custody. Sweeney was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
