A Frederick woman was arrested Friday night and charged with first and second degree assault. Police said they responded to an undisclosed location for a reported stabbing. When they arrived they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to his forearm. The man had to be transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital for treatment. Malinda White, of Still Meadow Place, was taken into custody.

Authorities said the stabbing resulted from an earlier argument.
