The suspects stole Patron liquor.
Local police are looking for two men who robbed a store late Tuesday night.
Maryland State Troopers responded to Walkersville Liquors on Maple Avenue at 10:00 p.m. and were told by the store's owner that he was just robbed.
The man said he was in his office working when he heard the front door to the business open. He looked at the surveillance cameras and saw a man holding the front door wide open, while another man walked into the store.
The owner walked to the front of the store and was confronted by a suspect who began yelling and then pointed a handgun at him. The owner went back into his office, locked the door and called 9-1-1.
He watched the gunman and his accomplice on the surveillance cameras steal two boxes of Patron liquor from the shelf before running out the front door. The gunman was wearing gray sweat pants, a gray sweatshirt, and a mask covering his entire head. The other suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt and gray sweat pants.
An extensive search of the area by the Maryland State Police and Frederick County Sheriff’s Office was unsuccessful in locating the suspects. The Maryland State Police is asking anybody with information regarding this incident to contact the Frederick Barrack at 301-600-4150, or the assigned investigator Tfc. J. White at 301-600-4175.
