A woman placing stolen items into her bag was caught by officials when she tried to exit the store.
A shoplifting incident took place yesterday at K-Mart when store officials observed a woman placing stolen items in a bag and then trying to exit the store. Officers say Crystal Smith-Hewett stole $260.55 worth of items from the store and is being charged with theft of less than $1000.
