No one was injured.

About 55 fire fighters from Frederick and surrounding jurisdictions were dispatched to a town house fire in the Hillcrest community Friday night. The call to 41 Apple Way, just off of Orchard Way, originally went out as a chimney fire and then a fire on the roof.

Personnel spent about 20-minutes bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries.

The County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire and a damage estimate.

The flames from the fire coming through the roof could be seen along McCain Drive.

A ladder truck from Fort Detrick with a hose mounted on top was used to douse the flames coming through the roof.

County Fire Marshal Mike Dmuchowski says damage was extensive behind the town house.
