Frederick Police investigating an armed robbery ended up arresting two suspects on drug offenses. Desean Wilson, 24, and Tinashe Ndori, 25, both of Frederick, were both taken into custody.

Authorities responded to the Elmwood Terrace Apartments Sunday at 7:00 PM and made contact with an Hispanic male who said two African-American men robbed him. The victim said the suspects were about 25 years of age, and wearing all black hooded sweatshirts and black pants. He also said they had masks.

While officers were talking with residents about the robbery, they came across Wilson, who they say fit the description of one of the armed robbers. Police say he refused to provide identification, and tried to walk past officers. When he approached them, authorities say Wilson had an odor of marijuana. They searched his person and found 15-grams of pot and a large amount of money. Wilson was charged with drug offenses.

Police then contacted the residents of the apartment where Wilson lived. They found two males inside the unit. Officers searched Ndori's room and found additional marijuana, a large sum of cash, drug paraphernalia, packaging material and scales.  Ndori was also taken into custody.

Both men are charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, and several counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
