Frederick Police are investigating the armed robbery of a man on Friday night, when he went to move his car on Schaffer Drive around 7:30 p.m.

Police were called to the intersection of Schaffer Drive and Hampshire Drive after the victim said he found another man inside his car, which was parked at the end of Schaffer Drive.

The victim confronted the man and the two began to fight. The victim was then struck from behind and then assaulted by a group of men. The suspects told the man to give them his valuables and they tried to take his wallet. One suspect showed the man a gun and threatened to shoot him if he stopped them from leaving the scene.

All four suspects ran from the area towards Key Parkway. Police are trying to find the suspects. They are described as black males between the age of 20 to 30 years old.
