Several people were sent to the hospital early Sunday morning after a fight broke out in Hagerstown.
Hagerstown City Police responded to the 12-thousand block of Little Elliott Drive around 1:30 a.m. and were told by witnesses that a fight started outside an apartment and then moved inside. While inside, several people were struck with a bat and other objects.
The victims were taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment and released.
A male was later found with several stab wounds that he received during the assault.
Police say the investigation into the assault is continuing.
