Sheriff's Office says victim had Down's Syndrome.

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation.   Authorities say the deceased is identified as Robert E. Saylor, 26, of New Market.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies working secondary employment at the Westview Promenade  were approached by an employee of the Regal Cinemas Westview Stadium 16, and were told that Saylor was in one of the theaters. He had watched a movie and refused to leave, or purchase another ticket.

The deputies spoke with Saylor and tried to convince him to leave.  Saylor refused, and began cursing at the deputies, according to authorities.  They physcially removed him from his seat, and started to escort him out.  He continued to resist and was placed in handcuffs.

Before leaving the theater, Saylor had a medical emergency.  Deputies removed the handcuffs and called for EMT's.  Saylor was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.   His body was transported  to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

"it was confirmed that he was a young adult with Down's Syndrome," says Sheriff Chuck Jenkins.

The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is investigating  this incident.
