Woman Flown To Shock Trauma Following Crash

Her vehicle left the road and hit a tree.

 

A Charles Town, West Virginia woman was medivaced Thursday morning following a one-vehicle crash in Frederick County.

The Sheriff's Office says at 9:52 AM, Robin Lynn Spangler, 41, was operating a Dodge Dakota pickup truck in the 7200 block of Hollow Road in Midldetown when it crossed over into the opposing lane. It then left the road and hit a tree.

Spangler was flown to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma in Baltimore by the State Police helicopter for treatment of her injuries.

Hollow Road was closed between Old National Pike and Layla Drive while deputies conducted their investigation.
