Delegate Kelly Schultz said there have been no official changes yet.
After nearly two weeks of being in session, the Maryland General Assembly is off to a busy start tackling big issues that could effect our state.
Delegate Kelly Schultz said there have been no official changes yet.
"There are nothing on the books that have changed since we got here but obviously the process is moving forward and we are going to fight some of those changes pretty diligently,"
Bob Miller on the Morning News Express asked Schultz about one of Governor O'Malley's big agenda items, the death penalty repeal.
"[Governor O'Malley] seems to think, from the reports that I have read, he seems to think that he has the votes to repeal that and I would question his comfortableness to repeal that. That is going to be a touchy subject but there is going to be a long hard battle on that as well ," Schultz said.
Other legislation that will be discussed is how to curb gun violence, transportation and the budget.
