The Frederick County Business & Employment Center closed as of 2:00 p.m. today due to a report of a possible gas leak in the facility located at 5340 Spectrum Drive, Frederick, Md. Firefighters are currently on site and working to investigate any issues in the building.

Staff have posted notices to alert job search clients and the public that the center has closed.

As Monday is the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday, the center plans to open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, on the normal schedule.
