State Police Release Names Of Those Involved In Fatal Crash

The investigation is continuing.

State Police in Frederick have released the names of the two men involved in a fatal vehicle crash near Unionville on Tuesday morning. Troopers say 24-year-old Stephen Hardesty of Sykesville was the operator of a Jeep Cherokee which crossed the center line of Route 26 near Albaugh Road, and hit a Saturn head-on. The driver of the Saturn was pronounced dead at the scene. He's identified as 49-year-old Paul Klausmeyer of Woodbine.

The investigation into this crash is continuing.
