A Frederick man who drove away as police were ready to serve a search and seizure warrant on his apartment on Friday morning has been arrested. Larry Lamar Johnson, 34, is charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers with Patrol Squad C served the warrant at 1103 Key Parkway. Prior to the search, they saw Johnson and another person get into a vehicle and drive away. The car was stopped along Baughmans Lane, and Johnson was arrested on the marijuana charges. His companion was not charged and released.
During the search of Johnson's apartment, officers found marijuana and drug packaging paraphernalia.
