Thurmont Police Make Drug Arrests

Four suspects were arrested in two unrelated cases.

 

Charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia have been filed against a Thurmont man.   Ronald L. Gillispie, 28, was arrested on Friday afternoon in the area of Sunny Close and Sunny Way in Thurmont following complaints of drug activity.

Police in Thurmont say Gillispie had drug paraphernalia in his pockets. They also say a search of Gillispie's person following his arrest netted a small package of suspected heroin.

He was taken to central booking.

Thurmont Police have charged three other people with drug offenses. This action was taken after a search and seizure warrant was served on Saturday, January 19th at an address on Ironmaster Drive in Thurmont. During that time, officers identified several packages of suspected marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia in the home.

Jeffrey K. Raubaugh, 43, is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jeffrey T. Raubaugh, 18, is charged with possession of marijuana. And Dylan M. Schwab, 20 is charged with 2 counts of possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were served with criminal summons on Sunday, January 27th. They are each residents of the home where the search and seizure warrant was served.
