Once handcuffed, the suspect spit in an officer's face and continued his combative actions.
Just before midnight on Monday, Frederick Police officers were called to the 1400 block of Baker Place West for reports of an intoxicated and belligerent man in the parking lot.
While investigating, police found Michael Kline who struck an officer in the chest. Police tried to arrest Kline but he did not cooperate and injured an officer's hand. Once handcuffed, Kline spit in an officer's face and continued to combative actions.
kline was taken to frederick memorial hospital to be treated then transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center Central Booking for processing.
