Roads could get slippery ovrernight.

The National Weather Service in Sterling, Va. has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Frederick and Washington Counties in Maryland, and Berkeley County, West Virginia. The agency say the Advisory will remain in affect until 6:00 AM Tuesday.

The Weather Service says the region can expect snow between one to two inches of snow, which is expected to begin light to moderate in the evening, and becoming heavier later at night.

Temperatures will be in the upper 20's, with winds from the south 10 miles per hour, becoming westerly later in the evening.

Travel could be difficult on Monday night with snow coered roads and visibilities limited to about a quarter of a mile at times.

The National Weather Service says a Winter Weather Advisory means snow or periods of snow could result in snow-covered roads and slippery conditions. Motorists are urged to use caution when driving.
