Debbie Williams, the founder of the Patty Pollatos Fund, said there will be a car wash held at the Frederick Shell on Route 40 on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to benefit the Lillard family of Myersville.
The Frederick Community is coming together to help out a local family who lost their two young daughters in a fire last week.
The fire engulfed the family's home causing an estimated $200,000 in damage and took about 75 fire fighters and 40 fire companies to put out the fire.
Debbie Williams, the founder of the Patty Pollatos Fund, said there will be a car wash held at the Frederick Shell on Route 40 on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to benefit the Lillard family of Myersville.
"I'll be there the whole time collecting donations on the side if anyone would like to stop in and 100% of that money will be used to help them," Williams said.
All proceeds will go to the family through the Patty Pollatos Fund, which will handle much of the money coming in for Lillards and covering their expenses directly.
"You can go on the Patty Pollatos website, ppfinc.org and you can donate. You can also, in the comment box, say something to the Lillard family and I will make sure they get those comments and that will be uplifting for them also," Williams said.
Williams remains in the contact with the Lillard family and said the family's 8-year-old daughter, Morgan, is still in the hospital and continues to improve every day.
On Tuesday, more than 3,000 supporters came to the Chick-Fil-A in Frederick for a fundraiser to help the family, where 25% of the proceeds raised that night will benefit the Lillard Family.
