He's charged with taking two used batteries from Battery One, Inc.

Frederick Police are looking for Lee Roy Sullivan, 22, who has no fixed address. He's suspected of stealing items from a local store.

Authorities say on Wednesday, an individual entered the Battery One, Inc., located in the 400 block of East Patrick Street. An employee noticed him taking four used batteries. He confronted the man, and was able to retrieve  two of the batteries. The individual took the other two, and drove off. The two batteries are valued at $9.00.

Frederick Police Officer Scott Grigsby was able to obtain video surveillance footage from the store, and he circulated it around to various police agencies. Brunswick Police contacted him with a possible identification. Officer Grigsby arranged a photo array for the employee, who positively identified the individual.

Charging documents have been prepared, but Sullivan is not yet in custody. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Officer Grigsby at 301-600-7555, or send him an e-mail at sgrigby@frederickmdpolice.org. You can also call the TIP line at 30-600-TIPS {8477}. Police say you can remain anonymous.
