Frederick Police are investigating a robbery where the victim was assaulted.

Authorities on Friday night responded to the 1400 block of Hunting Horn Lane, where an individual told officers he was struck by several suspects after answering a knock at the door. The victim was able to contact a neighbor who called police.

Officers conducted a canvas of the area, but no suspects were located.
