Coryea Webster sentenced on Thursday.
A gang member was sentenced in Frederick Thursday. "Coryea D. Webster was given a 60 year sentence, 25 of which he has to spend in the Department of Corrections," said States Attorney Charlie Smith. "A pretty lengthy sentence for Mr.. Webster," continued Smith.
Webster, who also goes by the street name Yae-Yoe, which is a term for cocaine, in the movie Scarface, was validated by the Maryland State Police as an 'East Side Bounty Hunter Blood'. "Which is a subset of the Blood gang, which is present here in Frederick County," said Smith.
Webster was arrested at his girlfriend's house on an arrest warrant last April. "Officers saw some contraband, so they went and got a search warrant and they seized 28 baggies of crack cocaine, a 9 millimeter high point firearms rifle, a large bag of various caliber bullets and some CDS," Smith continued.
In an unrelated case, Roosevelt Harris was sentenced to ten years in prison Thursday. "It was for possession with intent to distribute cocaine," Smith said. It received a sentence of 30 years, with all but 10 suspended. "He also had to forfeit his very nice BMW as part of his guilty plea," said Smith.
