Frederick Police made an arrest Friday night after they were called to Costco for a report of a man soliciting money from patrons in the parking lot.

Officers working a plain clothes detail arrived and saw Christopher Noto speaking to an occupant in a vehicle.  As the officers walked towards him, Noto stopped talking to that person and approached the officers and asked both of them for money to purchase coffee.  The officers identified themselves and placed him under arrest. 

After the officers searched Mr.. Noto they found a large amount of cash and other items that had apparently been given to him as a result of his panhandling efforts.
