But he's also charged with a drug offense.

A Chambersburg, Pennsylvania man wanted in Frederick turned himself on Tuesday. Police say Gerald Omar Scarlett, 18,  came into headquarters at 9:35 AM, and said he was surrendering.

Scarlet had an active warrant for failing to appear in court on theft and assault charges. Officer K. Meyer placed Scarlett under arrest.

During a search incident to the arrest, Officer Meyer says he found a plastic bag containing suspected marijuana.

Scarlett is charged on a failure to appear warrant, and possession of marijuana less than ten grams.
