But State Police still urge motorists to be cautious when driving.

The Maryland State Police have lifted the Snow Emergency Plan in Frederick County.  The plan was rescinded as of 5:00 PM on Wednesday.

But troopers remind drivers not to let their guard down when out on the roads.  Authorities say the wet roads we had to deal with during the day could freeze up overnight, causing some slippery conditions.  Motorists are urged to use caution if they have to go out on Wednesday evening, and Thursday morning.

The Snow Emergency Plan was put into place at 3:40 AM on Wednesday.
