Two Frederick men were arrested and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid Thursday night.

It happened in the 300 block of North Market Street when officers were on foot patrol in that area and saw Wayne Chadderton, of Pine Avenue, and Brian Lewis, of South Market Street, consuming alcoholic beverages in public.

Both were issued criminal citations for being in possession of spice.
