Law enforcement officers from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Police and officers from other surrounding jurisdictions will join together to conduct a sobriety checkpoint in the northbound lane of the 2200 hundred block of Hanover Pike, in Hampstead, on March 16th.

 Police say the effort, called Checkpoint Strike Force, is to reduce the number of impaired and intoxicated drivers on Carroll County roadways.
