She was found lying outside her vehicle which overturned.
A Germantown, Maryland woman was injured in a vehicle crash in West virginia on Monday morning.
At around 11:41 AM, a deputy with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office was traveling southbound on Interstate 81 near the 16-mile marker and observed a vehicle on its top, with a woman lying on the ground.
Emergency services personnel were called to the scene. The woman, identified as Linda Overstreet. 51, of Germantown, was treated for her injuries at the scene, and then taken to an area hospital.
Authorities believe the vehicle ran off the road and flipped over.
The investigation into this crash is continuing.
