Tuesday mornning's rains put a number roads in Frederick County underwater. The Office of Highway Operations says these following roads are closed due to high water, trees or utility lines blocking the roadway, or debris removal:

Sams Creek Road at Route 31 and Oak Orchard Road;

Ijamsville Road between Mussetter Road and Prices Distillery Road;

Prices Distillery Road between Route 80 and Ijamsville road;

and Gas House Pike at Linganore Creek.

Highway officials remind you not to try to drive through flooded roadways. They say "turn around, don't drown."
