The incident occurred in July, 2012.

Frederick Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a residential burglary last summer. Charles James Williams, 61, of Frederick is charged with one count each of 4th-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property less than $500.

Authorities say on July 16th, 2012, an individual tried to break into a home in the 1600 block of Shookstown Road. The homeowner told officers who responded that the suspect broke a rear window trying to get into the residence. He fled the scene before police arrived.

Investigators say they were able to link Williams to the break-in, and a warrant was obtained. Williams was arrested on Tuesday, March 12th.
