Hagerstown Police are investigating a robbery in the city Wednesday afternoon.

Around 2:47 PM, officers responded to 117 West Franklin Street, and met with the victim. He told them was assaulted by three unknown black males, who took an undisclosed amount of cash and a jacket.  During the assault, a handgun was displayed.

The victim was taken to Meritus Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. He was released from the hospital.
