The Walkersville branch Library will be closed from Saturday, March 16th until Tuesday, April 2nd. Officials say it's for some much-needed "sprucing up" and building maintenance to provide an improved experience for patrons.

Materials may be returned to the Walkersville Library bookdrop, or any of the other branches, as well as the Community Bookmobile. Items that Walkersville Library customers placed on hold will be delivered to the Thurmont Regional Library during the renovation.

Those who would prefer to pick up materials at a different location, can change the pick-up location of their hold on the library’s website, fcpl.org, or by calling 301-600-7200.
