Suspect Arrested In Family Dollar Store Robbery

He's being held at the Washington County Detention Center.

 

A Hagerstown man has been arrested in connection with the March 9th robbery of the Family Dollar Store at 921 Pennsylvania Avenue. Alfred Conrad Teabout, Jr, 47, of Hagerstown, is charged with armed robbery, robbery, reckless endangerment and theft.

Police say a man walked into the store on the evening of March 9th, and demanded money from the clerk. He displayed a large kitchen knife, and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A search by Hagerstown Police using canines came up empty.

Teabout was identified as the suspect on March 13th, and was taken into custody.

He's currently behind bars at the Washington County Detention Center on $35,000 bond.
