Frederick County Animal Control is investeigating four such incidents.
Frederick, Md. (ap) _ Frederick County authorities say two big, red dogs are suspected of killing nine goats, 12 rabbits and several chickens in a series of attacks on farms in the northeastern section of the county.
Animal Control Director Harold Domer said Tuesday that officers are seeking information about the dogs and their owner.
He says four separate attacks have been reported near the area of Old Annapolis Road and Green Valley Road, about six miles east of Frederick.
Domer says the first attack was on March 27. The latest was on Monday.
He says the dogs are dark red with medium-length hair. The dogs are believed to weigh 55 to 75 pounds each.
Anyone who has information on the dogs or their owners is asked to call Animal Control at 301-600-1544. Domer says even if officers are out on patrol, they check their messages periodically. Another number citizens could use is 301-600-2558.
