A Hagerstown woman has been charged with stealing $1,775 worth of jewelry from an 86-year-old woman who resides at an assisted-living center, according to a Washington County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Patricia Lynn Brady, 48, of 849 Mulberry Ave., was charged with three counts of theft less than $1,000, one count of theft between $1,000 and $10,000, one count of theft less than $100, one count of theft scheme $1,000 and two counts of theft less than $1,000, deputies said.
Deputies allege Brady took the jewelry while she was an employee at the assisted-living center.
The jewelry was recovered from a local pawn shop, deputies said.
Brady is scheduled to appear July 9th in Washington County District Court, according to the release.
