The Frederick County Sheriff's Office will soon be increasing the number of days and hours it provides fingerprinting services to the public. Currently, fingerprinting services are offered from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., on Wednesdays. Starting on May 7, fingerprinting services will be increased to three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday, from noon to five p.m.
The goal of the office is to make it more convenient for citizens to have their fingerprints taken for employment, licenses, permits and other important issues like adoption and child care services, the release said.
The Sheriff's Office will continue to accept credit/debit cards, checks and money orders as payment for these services. Cash is not accepted.
