Burglary, theft and weapons charges have been filed against two men in Frederick. Police on Saturday arrested Shawn Michael Wayne Humphreys, 20, and James Timothy Back, 25, in connection with a burglary that occurred overnight at a business in the 400 block of Pine avenue.
They're each charged with 2nd-degree burglary, 4th-degree burglary, theft under $100, theft under $1,000, theft over $1,000, discharging a firearm within city limits, wearing, carrying and transporting a handgun, and conspiracy to commit these offense.
Both men have no fixed address, according to police.
During that burglary, a firearm had been taken from the business.
Using closed circuit surveillance video, officers were able to identify the suspects.
They found Humphreys and Back living in a tent in a wooded area near the business. The pair tried to flee, but were detained by police.
A search of their tent netted several stolen items.
