Permanent pavement markers to be laid down at a future date.
There's some good news for motorists. Ijamsville Road between Ball Road and Prices Distillery Road has reopened to traffic. The Frederick County Department of Highways and Transportation says temporary center lane markings have been placed along Ijamsville Road. Permanent markings will be put in place when weather permits.
Officials say in the coming weeks, a flagging operation will be used to maintain traffic for the placement of permanent pavement markings and minor shoulder work. Motorists are urged to be careful when traveling through workzones.
Emergency personnel and local schools have been notified.
