The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation (FCBI) is seeking citizen assistance in identifying a woman wanted for questioning in a theft and fraud investigation. On 02/09/2013, a Frederick woman reported that her purse, which contained personal identification and credit cards, was stolen from her shopping cart at the Wal-Mart Store located on Guilford Drive in Frederick. The investigation determined that shortly after the theft one of the victim’s credit cards was used at Wal-Mart to make a fraudulent $700 purchase.
Surveillance photos of the woman who made the fraudulent $700 purchase are being released to the public in an effort to identify her.
She is described as a white female with long, blondish-brown hair and was wearing a puffy black coat and dark pants. She was seen in a white truck that had two black stripes on the hood.
